Even though there are tons of deodorants and medication that you can use to fight sweat, sometimes it’s not enough. After a long day of activity, we always end up with sweat spots, especially under our arms or on our backs. Sweating is a normal thing, it is good to sweat, but excessive sweat can be difficult to deal with. So without any further ado let’s hop right into some tips on how to stop excessive sweating all over your body by using common household ingredients.

1. Antibacterial hand wash

The bad smell comes from the germs that our sweat produces, so to remove the smell, you have to kill these germs. If one day you find yourself in a situation where you smell bad but you don’t have a deodorant with you and are unable to take a quick shower, simply go to the nearest bathroom and apply antibacterial handwash to your armpits for immediate relief. Consider keeping some cleansing wipes with you whenever you go out so you can quickly fix a bad smell or sweat mark.

2. Baking soda

Baking soda is commonly used as an antiperspirant. You can apply it to your underarms after you shower in the morning. Make sure you’re applying it to moist skin, and then remove the excess. You’ll notice how you won’t sweat as much as you would with a normal deodorant. If you know you have a busy day ahead of you, there’s also a homemade solution that you can drink in the morning or thorough the day to minimize your sweating. You’ll need: 2 tablespoons of baking soda 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of sugar 1 liter of water It might not be very tasteful, but it for sure works!

3. Hydrogen peroxide

Remember what we previously talked about? Germs are the main cause of bad odor, and because of that, you need to kill these germs to get rid of sweat and its bad smell. Hydrogen peroxide can help you with that since it’s known to fight germs while helping against stinky odors. You’ll need half a cup of water and one teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide. Mix them together and apply the solution to your dry skin before you leave the house.
